Old Glory American Flag

Old Glory American Flag

from $115.00

I just love this flag!   Made from real American barn wood that has faded and aged over time.  These flags are truly made from a piece of our American heritage.

Some of the wood used to make these flags is salvaged from a barn in Morley, Michigan named the Boyd barn.  This barn was constructed and owned by Myron Boyd back in 1880.  Located on 80 acres which was purchased at that time for only $3 per acre.  The barn was used to store hay for his booming dairy business.

The red colored wood in the flag is salvaged from a barn in Middleville, Michigan which was built sometime in 1898 by 'Barney' Guenter.  He immigrated from Germany as a shoemaker, but chose a career in agriculture when he arrived in America.  Unfortunately, the barn collapsed in 2013.  These are actual pictures of the barns!!!

This flag would look great in any setting.  The stars are made of steel with a 3 dimensional shape.  It comes with all the necessary hangers to mount on your wall. Measurements are aproximately 14"x 28" or a standard size of 3’ x 5’

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FLAG IN THE PICTURE IS SOLD.  Each flag made is unique and one of a kind.  While there are slight variations to each flag, they all have a similar look, color, and size to the one pictured.  No two flags are identical.
